Zak has been sailing for a couple of summers now and Emma launched into it as summer arrived in 2014.
Recently Zak's Friday night group escaped from their usual spot in the harbour near Pt Chevalier and did a trip from Westhaven Marina, under the Harbour Bridge and out to Pt Chev. Being Friday night, there were a lot of big boats in the harbour for the regular Friday night races...
On the same evening, Emma, in a club boat, had sailed from the boat ramp to the beach where her class went for a bit of a swim. Then, because it was so good to be in the water that night, they had capsizing practice, over and over. Arriving back at the ramp very soggy and very happy.
